Geocaching 101 At Adventure Kayak Tours

Looking for an activity that is good for both children and adults, caters to your adventurous side, makes you think outside the box, and takes you to places you have not been with sights you have never seen? Try Geocaching.

What is geocaching? Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.

If you are an avid geocacher, but just don’t have any way to get those paddle caches you have been dying to get, Adventure Kayak Tours can help. If you have never heard of geocaching, but it sounds interesting and you would like to know more and experience your first find, let us know. Whether it is collecting a few caches along your kayaking adventure or scheduling a custom paddle cache tour, Adventure Kayak Tours would like to add a Smiley to your list. Geocaching is a fun family activity, a way to see places and sights you may have never seen before and a great addition to any summer camp/educational program.
